Time for a Face Lift...

I need to re-vamp my blog. I can learn quickly, but I am not sure where to go to look or learn. If anyone is willing to share tips of how to create a cute blog, with headers, buttons, etc. Please share below! I am in the process of downloading clip art, more fonts and Alphabets so I can update all of my personal files I created and used this last year. I love to share and I love to search for even more creative things so I would love to share some of the great things I created this last year with all of you! I have all summer, so please be patient! Once again, any advice on how to change my blog would be greatly appreciated!!

Summer Search

Well, since I just wrapped up my 2nd year of teaching, I was still a duration of need teacher. This unfortunately means that I am not guaranteed a spot next year and that is exactly what happened. I was very fortunate to be welcomed back for this school year that just ended yesterday, so I am grateful for 2 years in the same building. I developed wonderful relationships with some awesome women and I have made memories I will hold dear forever. Now, I am once again on the job hunt. I am so very nervous though because jobs are few and far between. I will try my best to stay optimistic, but as everyone knows, finding a job is easier said than done. So, prayers for a successful and relatively short search this summer. To my wonderful friends and WHES, thanks for the memories, have a wonderful summer, and please keep in touch!

Too late? or Summer planning?

My 2nd full year of teaching will come to a close in 4 school days. I initially created this blog to chronicle 1 full year with pictures. Well, that didn't happen...Therefore, I am entering back into the world on blogging without any expectations in mind. My goal is just to talk about teaching, new ideas that pop into my head, and look for resources. I love, love creating my own things for the classroom but the internet is so wonderful and the thing I love most about teachers: collaboration. We love to share! It is a win-win situation in my opinion!
Well, I must go already...I have a lot of tortillas waiting to be cut into pinwheels for a joint shower my team is hosting tomorrow! I will work on my wish list/to-do list for next year and post that soon.

I will also remove some of my old pictures I have set up on the blog and make it less about my personal life and more about teaching and resources. :)

Here goes nothing!

PS: If anyone knows how or would be willing to (for free) make a cute banner to replace my title...I would forever be grateful! I lack in the HTML dept and lack cute fonts! :( That is something on my summer to-do list for sure!! :)
